Dear God,

How is it that whenever I'm feeling down,
when I've nightmares from the past,
and when all hopes seemed to have faded away,
and I hope for a miracle,
You would reach out from Heaven,
and come to my rescue.

Lord I love You with all of my heart.
Many times I've fallen,
yet You never once gave up on me.
Oh, the disappointments in life,
cannot be compared to your Greatness.
Your Mercy and Grace overflows.

From the depths of my heart,
I yearn for Your presence,
to lift me out of the valley.
You come so gently,
comforting a lost child,
what am I without You?

I search for You everywhere,
I thought I could not find You.
But You were always here,
Right beside me.
Giving me strength,
to overcome the issues of life.

Nothing can be compared to You,
the world is in your hands.
My life is yours alone.
Your love saturates me,
and leaves me breathless.
I long for so much more of You.

What can describe this peace You've given me,
when the enemies of life hound me.
the deep longing in my heart,
can only be quench by You.
What is messy is no longer,
when I wait upon You.
