I have been traveling north south east west and central the past few days.
Friday evening was spend with Sophia at the Song of the Sea show at Sentosa. You'd be amazed at the rapid development at sentosa. To my dismay, the beach has lessen in its width. I will always remember the fun times I spent at the beach with the different friends in my life. And to think it's all for the better of the island. Anyways, back to the show. It was SPECTACULAR. There were lightings, sounds, live acts, fireworks, and having Sophia by my side made the evening all the more wonderful. Go down and watch it. It's located at beach station, the tickets cost $6 each (free sitting, rain or shine), and starts at 7.40pm or 8.40pm. It lasted about 25 minutes when we watched it.
After service on sunday, we headed down to Raffles City to collect pre-ordered cup-cakes. They look nice, but not my type as they were too dry. There afterwards, it was too late for me to head down to Ngee Ann for my soccer game, and we ended up spending a few hours in Suntec City's starbucks before proceeding to a flea market at one of the rooms located at the conference hall. Dinner at Lerk Thai, as Mao Shen was due to report into his new camp the next day, and we didn't know if he was going to be confined again. Just received news that will not be the case, therefore we can go celebrate again. The food at Lerk Thai was pretty average.
I think I shall list down a few simple pleasures in my life:
1) Watching a show on a quiet evening
2) Cooking together on another quiet evening
3) Shopping the whole day (Sophia says I need a makeover, I say I need new gadgets)
4) Floating in the water with the sun overhead
5) Revisiting childhood places
6) Have a big family outing (with no quarrels)
7) I'm reserving this space for something that I just forgot
8) Riding pillion on the back of my father's bike along ECP
Aw, but life can't be so simple all the time, else we'll all be simpletons.
