Delirious? and Don Moen were in town. Delirious? makes me want to play the guitar and sing.
The past 2 nights were spent in the SIS. It was a good time of praise and worship and listening to Pastor Phil Pringle preach the word. It's good to see people of all denomination come together to worship the Lord without their differences. Shall blog more about it on the cell group blog.


In a typical forum, you will usually see a debate with 3 sides. One, the preposition, then the opposition, followed by the anything goes peacemaker. A typical EXAMPLE:

Topic: Unconfirmed reports of scandal in top lawyer's office

A: I think the lawyer cannot make it. Being of such a high reputation how can he resort to such a method of making business. I think he is a disgrace to xxxxx.

B: With regards to the topic, I think A is not in the business to judge others. Furthermore the report is unconfirmed as the investigations are not completed yet.

(then after further discussion, the comments get downright ugly.)

A: B, I think you should xxxx xxxx because you are just a young student. What do you know about the workings of society.

B: Just because I'm a student doesn't mean I'm not matured to comment on this. Don't be so self-righteous. For all I know, you could be another one of those publicity hungry hounds.

(the peacemaker steps in)

C: Alright guys, I think we should not go into hurling abuses at one another. Let the investigations be carried out before we come to any conclusion. We should not have opinions until the matter is proven.

(and then the abuse continues.)

I think the wisest guy is the one who holds his tongue or rather hands instead of dabbling in what he does not understand. That guy is the expert. Knowing when to keep his mouth shut/hands to himself.

Now let's talk about Sun. She is living out a life. Living out a life is fulfilling your dreams no matter what others say or expect of you, and it takes real courage and strength. Instead of spending time commenting on her actions, why don't you guys reflect on what you have achieve in your life, and maybe donate some money to the charities while you are at it. At least you can help others while not on the ground. This applies to me as well.

I don't expect many people to read this, but oh well, let it be known that most of the time people don't know what they are saying until they have seen both side of the matter. If you insist your opinion is right, so be it. Ultimately the judge is not the people around you, but God.

On the side note, I'm happy that Carl got someone he has been waiting for. Hope it's worth the wait friend. And it makes me love Sophia more, for all her 'womanliness', she rocks. She didn't complain about the hours long wait, she didn't grumble about the lousy food and service, today. Seeing her this way makes me extremely happy. (:
