That's when I love you

I felt like a free man. Finally I have come to the end of my tenure at Rotary IMC at Jurong Island. It really is great working in an island, even though it's not shangri-la, or even Sentosa. There will be no more rides with Sammy, no more work from Zaw, no more request for reports from Firdaus. Now I know why there is a retirement period. It's time for you to get tired with other things instead of work.

The few remaining days of holidays are for me to refocus and to recharge. Time for new things ahead. Starting lesson with the 'ultimate guitar solution'. Playing soccer on sundays, saving up money for a LP. etc etc. So many things to do, and building fund is coming up, so I have a already prepared a sum to give. It's going to be exciting from now on, no more sleep-till-afternoon routine, no more wait and see. It's time to kick ass.

Oh no, kick ass is not a vulgarity, it's a description for a group of people who believe in cutting the crap and doing what it takes to get the job done, and I sure know a few of them. Oh sure being a kick ass doesn't help making friends, they are not the most PR people around, but hey, they have a distinct style. One that tells you to walk the walk by walking themselves. If I have to lose a few friends, it doesn't matter, they weren't meant to stay anyway.

Holidays soon. First time in a long while mum, sis and I are going overseas together, we have still yet to plan on where to go and when, but we'll know soon.
