Some of the things that I've been lacking.
1. Decent Laptop (preferably a black Macbook, or Macbook pro)
2. Decent timetable (need to sleep on time, wake up on time)
3. Something other than book to keep me occupied on the bus (e.g. mp3 player, preferably Ipod)
4. Cash
yeah I know I know. What else do I blog about? Those are needs man.
Went to Chinatown today. It's already getting quite crowded. I wonder what it will be like when it reaches the actual CNY. Tomorrow is Pastor Ulf's conference, and I'm excited to go and hear what he has to speak about this year. Everytime he comes, the church gets to hear powerful sermons from the word of God.
Went with Alvin (Chiam, and Koh), Wee Chong, Van, and Rachael to watch the Singapore Vs Thailand match. Ivan and I actually walked all the way from city hall to the stadium, but it was 'once in a lifetime', the view and the scenery along the way was great. Then we reached the stadium. This was the first time I actually hear Singaporeans singing the national anthem with so much pride. Nonetheless, most of them forgot the last part of the lyrics and completely stop singing. Then the match got underway.
To cut the story short, Singapore won, Thailand lost, but its not over. For match theatrics, please go get the local newspaper.
PM test is tomorrow, and then one week of study break before MAD and OOAD 2 test. Will have to spent next week studying (I hope).
These past few days brought waves of nostalgia back to me as I experience the different essence of living, the smell and the sights. Especially the smell. The scientist says that the smell is the most unique sense. Something that you once smell before, will always be there, as in, you won't forget it. So I could smell my childhood passing me by, my secondary school years. They seem so near yet so far away. I wonder what would I do if I'm still in Secondary school. Gives me lots to ponder about, but hey, history always has lessons for us to learn.
Well Go Go Go Singapore. Win the ASEAN Cup and show the critics what you've got!
Every piece of poem
is an art to the poet
as a song played on a piano
as drawing on a canvas
Every piece of music
has the heart of the musician
the innermost emotions
painted out clear
Every drift of scent
is a history long past
something so near
but never enough
Every memory of mind
is a distant haze
engulf in rememberance
never forgotten
The search is still on
for the sharing of feelings
the heart to bond
the destiny to share
