CHRISTmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL! =)

Tips for making someones day when you give your pressies:

1) Give, expecting nothing in return. (no matter how much you wish that person will give you the newest IPOD in exchange for the $20 present you gave.)

2) Give, with thought. (Think about the needs of the person you're buying for, what he or she wants. Even if you can't afford it, think about giving something thoughtful. E.g. My friend wishes for an IPOD, obviously I can't buy it yet la, so what do I do? buy for him a IPOD pouch first la. Believe with him that his IPOD will materialise somehow. It's things like this that makes someone sit up and smile, and know someone cares about him/her.)

3) Give, the best that you can. (Especially when you have to give to a lot of people. Then you probably don't have the budget. Don't fret, you can still give the best you can. =) Like my good friend Yee Joo and good daughter Mandy who made cards for everyone. It's a very sweet thing to do. Imagine someone who does not receive any presents from anyone, but got cards that speaks a lot about friendship especially in this season of love and giving.)

4) Give, as freely as possible. (Hey, it's Christmas after all! Give more than you plan for, not only does it makes others happy, but also yourself. Freely you give, freely you receive. Money isn't everything, love is.)

5) Give, till your heart pains. (Yeap. Unless you give till it pains your heart, it won't move others much. So the more you love the person, the more you give.)

Yep, I like to sum it off at 5. My favorite number. Christmas is here. Enjoy it in all its splendor, But do not forget the reason for the season.

As I walk down Orchard Road today (alone), I saw so many people, so many things floating in the air. lol. Kind of have to dodge all the aerosol sprays and make it back clean. Shopped for awhile. Bought some presents and couldn't decide on what to buy as well. What an Irony. Spent quite a lot today, but well, I gotta live what I preach.

Christmas eve was great. Woke up early and met Mandy, went to mac, then met Daniel, Mao Shen, Jocelyn, Shawn. A mini Northland gathering on the bus man. We reached there and met up with the rest of the CG, and then proceed to the carnival. All of us had fun playing the rides, especially meteorite. Not for the faint hearted. =) Then we had the Christmas drama which was hilarious and fun, yet reminds us of the reason for Christmas, the birth of Christ. I'm so in love with Christmas. After serving in S2, went to orchard on my own. Kind of just walked around looking for present, when I saw all those lovey dovey couples. Wish them all the best. Heh Heh. I'm just going to be alone quite a lot of time now.

Gotta go shop some more tmr. $$$. hahas. Okies. Gtg to bed, nites and thanks for reading my blog for today. Cheers, and Merry Christmas once again. <:-)
