Merry Christmas all. Well the end of Day 1 of Christmas has come.
The drama production at church was amazing. The part that really touched me was the scenes of father and son making up.
There were of cost hilarious parts with the '3 wise mens' who turned out to be cantonese, japanese and indian. They talked in funny accents that drew the most laughter from the crowd. Thanks to Dee, John and Durk for coming to the service.
Christmas really is a special time, but I woke up feeling a little lost. Christmas for me has really changed over the years. It use to be a wonderland every christmas for me. It was just an amazing experience every Christmas since young. Yet, as I grow older, I start seeing Christmas in a different way. The fun and joy was gone. It turns out to be an ordinary day every Christmas. Except, for the drama, where the awe and reverence of the virgin birth was really very genuine. That indeed is what Christmas is all about.
Anyways, Christmas for me was celebrated with E315 members in church, and my family over dinner. We had various shorts of meat, chicken, beef, turkey, ham, even sushi! I'm looking forward to spending more time with my cell members. They are a fun bunch of people. Lol.
I just finished writing 2 songs. This is the first time that I actually went all the way to singing, composing and recording. It is still in a rough form, but I'm very sure it will soon be ready. The first song titled 'Assurance' came as a result of reading a book and quiet time. 'Assurance' is about the assurance that we all seek from someone we look to. It may be your parents, your partners or your friends, but the assurance that we all can truly be secured in comes from God.
That's about all. I will try to update at least once a week? haha.
