Ending

It will be 5 years before they meet again.

He had already completed his further studies. It was time for him to return to his homeland. Upon arriving, he was greeted by his loyal group of friends who stayed in touch with him throughout the 4 years he was away. He felt grateful that God allow such people to touch his life in this special way. as he greet them one by one with a warm heart, he can't help but feel disappointed. She wasn't here. Has she really forgotten him? Or was she too busy with her work. He move it back to the back of his mind, and went for a gathering with the friends.

Soon, he started his very own business. He got everything he ever wanted, yet something was missing in his life. Everyday he went home, he felt the emptiness. He felt cold alone at night. The warmth his friends can provide was only temproary. so most of his nights was spent gazing at the ceiling. Everytime she was mentioned, he'd just smile and put on a front, knowing full well how much his heart was aching. It's hard to believe, after so much years of no contact, he still feels for her. He wonders how she is doing. He decide to meet her up.

He pluck up his courage and gave her a call. She sounded suprise when she realise that it was him, Well, at least she was suprised, he thought to himself. He arranged a meet up with her the following week.

He felt the funny sensation coming again. Just like it was whenever he was going to meet her up years before. He though of what to say when they meet. Would he blunder like some adolesent boy? Just like he use to. That has always been how he behaves towards the girl he loves wasn't it. He hope that with all the years of his music career overseas, he will have became more confident. He certainly hope so.

The day arrived. She still look as beautiful as ever. She made him think of the old song '8th world wonder'. He shove it out of his mind as quickly as it came. She sat down and they began to talk about the old times. He felt comforted, knowing that she has indeed been keeping track of him. They enjoyed a long and good chat over the dinner. The night was over but the memory will remain in him forever. The old flame was rekindled.

They took a walk back to her home. She lives alone. Once again, they bid goodbye at her gate, and he turned away feeling relieved somehow. They promised each other to keep in contact. It was a wonderful meeting for him. His heart skipped a little when he saw how she looked at him. He will probably just stay on.
